Frequently Asked Questions

Is it possible to purchase eAuthorization as a standalone service?

Yes, eAuthorization can be purchased as a standalone service. Our Swiftivity® full-service EDI medical clearinghouse has two modules: billing and prior authorization (eAuth). We offer the services together or either module as a standalone service.

Can eAuthorization be sent individually and batched?

Yes, the system is designed to upload a batch or simply process one single form. Swiftivity® eAuthorization was designed for practices who process a few authorizations to practices that transmits thousands daily. For those small practices, the system can process single form and for larger practices uploading a batch is available.

I registered with Swiftivity® about 4 months ago, will my account still be valid?

After 90 days of Inactivity on the Swiftivity® system you will be required to create a new password. However, if you have forgotten your initial password. You can reset that password using the ‘Forgot password link’ found on the Login Screen. Simply, follow the instructions within the email to reset your password.

Is your system single sign-on capable?

Yes, our technology is designed with industry standards for SSO. The base code of the system is capable of supporting OAuth 2.0. In the custom space, we have built provider support for PingFederate and also Salesforce.

Do you require special equipment?

Swiftivity® is a cloud-based web application and requires no special equipment or software downloads. Our services require only an internet connection and an email address. Swiftivity® offers the most comprehensive, yet simplistic solutions to support you.

Can you map information directly from my practice management system?

Absolutely! At Swiftivity®, we pride ourselves on being able to seamlessly integrate into our clients’ workflows. Our dedicated implementation team works directly with each client to create custom mapping and processing rules, so our clients achieve maximum efficiencies in their workflows.

Will my staff need an additional login?
